GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. In all cases eligibility of the candidates shall be determined as per Service Rules / Instructions of Provincial Government / Department and Commission's Regulation, 2017 displayed at Commission's website.
  2. Information claimed in on-line application form will be treated as final.
  3. Only one application is required for one serial, however, the candidates applying for various quotas should mention serial number and sub serial number in the application form specifically.
  4. Documents are not required at the time of submission of application; candidates who qualify the test will have to submit their documents within fifteen (15) days after announcement of the result, failing which their applications will be rejected without further intimation.
  5. Candidates applying against disable quota will be required to submit disability certificates issued by the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons on the basis of Standing Medical Board showing therein the specific disability as & when required before the date of interview.
  6. Employees of Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous / Semi Autonomous Bodies may apply directly but they will submit their Departmental Permission Certificates (DPC) as per prescribed form available on PSC website as & when required.
  7. In case of employees of Elementary & Secondary Education Department in BPS 15 and below, the DPC shall be countersigned by the District Education Officer while employees in BPS 16 & above, the DPC shall be countersigned by Director / Additional Director.
  8. In case of employees of Higher Education Department, the DPC shall be countersigned by Director/Additional Director.
  9. In case of employees of all other Departments, the DPC shall be countersigned by their respective Authorities.
  10. Call letters for test will be placed on PSC website. Candidates must keep visiting the PSC website from time to time.
  11. Degrees / Diploma / Experience Certificates / Testimonials of unrecognized Institutions are not accepted.
  12. Candidates possessing dual domicile on instant Advertisement's closing date will be rejected.
  13. Wherever, provision of equivalent qualification is provided in the advertisement and an equivalence of the required degree is to be claimed by a candidate, an equivalence certificate, issued by HEC will be required to authenticate the claim.
  14. Candidates from Minority community will be required to submit Minority certificate from their respective institutions/authorities.
  15. Threshold for passing ability tests is 33 marks.
  16. Candidates who possess qualification higher than the prescribed qualification in the same subject/field of studies will be considered eligible as provided in the KP PSC Regulation 2017.
  17. The Age: (a) Shall be reckoned on closing date of the advertisement. Maximum age limit as prescribed in the recruitment rules shall be relaxable up-to 10 years for Disabled persons / Divorced / Widow and Govt: Servants who have completed Two (2) years continuous service and up-to Three (3) years for candidates belonging to backward areas specified in the appendix attached to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2008. However, a candidate shall be allowed relaxation in age in one of the above categories provided that the candidates from backward areas, in addition to automatic relaxation of three years shall be entitled to one of the relaxations available to Govt: Servants, general or disabled candidates, whichever is relevant and applicable to them. (b) Five (05) years automatic relaxation will be allowed to Minority candidates.
  18. Employees or ex-employees of development projects of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and employees or ex-employees of development projects of the Federal Government under the administrative control of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shall also be entitled to age relaxation equal to the period served in the projects, subject to a maximum limit of ten years provided that this age relaxation shall not be available in conjunction with any other provisions of the age relaxation rules.
  19. Overage candidates who are short listed and otherwise eligible shall obtain age relaxation orders from the Competent Authority before the completion of interview schedule.
  20. Applicants married to Foreigners are considered only on production of the Govt: Relaxation Orders.
  21. A married female candidate not already in government service may either adopt the domicile of her husband or may retain her own domicile. However, option once exercised in online application form shall be final and change of domicile shall not be allowed thereafter.
  22. When experience is laid down as a part of qualification and if not specifically provided otherwise in the relevant Service Rules, prescribed experience means the experience duly certified by the concerned competent authority, verifiable from the record of the concerned Government/recognized institution, gained in line in a full time job after acquiring the prescribed qualification.
  23. Candidates applying for the posts in Elementary & Secondary Education Department involving experience are required to submit their experience certificates as under. (a) Experience certificate pertaining to the period prior and upto 2016 shall be countersigned /verified from B.I.S.E. (b) Experience certificate pertaining to the period from 2017 onward shall be countersigned /verified from P.S.R.A.
