PMDFC has been supporting local governments to build Water Supply, Sewerage & Drainage infrastructures in cities of Punjab. PMDFC is seeking the services of qualified, experienced and dynamic professional against the following position for Punjab Inclusive Cities Program (PICP):

Gross Monthly Salary
(Rs. 568,750/-)
Qualification:
  • BE/BSc in Civil Engineering preferably a higher degree from a recognized university.
Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in relevant field, preferably on donor funded projects.
  • Ten years of experience in similar projects including five years of experience in Project Management.
  • Knowledge of World Bank procedures will be an added advantage.
  • Should be a member of the PEC.
Job Description:
  • Report to Program Director in the Program activities, Management and devising the priority plans to achieve the PICP targets and objectives for WASA cities (Chakwal & Kasur, Chiniot, Mandi Bahauddin, Pakpattan & Rajanpur).
  • Coordination with WASA cities to identify the city needs and progress sharing at different forums.
  • Assist Program Director in implementing the infrastructure projects under PICP.
  • Problem solving and addressing the technical and non-technical issues, project planning and management for timely completion of the subprojects.
  • Ensure the compliance and implementation of rules and regulations applicable as per the loan agreement.
  • Facilitate in the identification and acquisition of land required for PICP projects in coordination with different Government Agencies.
  • Coordinate with Consultants engaged with PICP activities for their respective city.
  • Facilitate the World Bank mission activities.
  • Provide technical leadership in planning, design, and implementation of water supply, sewerage and drainage projects in the city.
  • Review and evaluate project proposals, PC-Is, feasibility studies, and engineering designs related to water supply, sewerage and drainage infrastructure for their respective city.
  • Monitor the execution of subprojects to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and environmental safeguards.
  • Develop and update strategic plans, frameworks, etc.
