JOB OPPORTUNITIES ON CONTRACT BASIS

Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), incorporated under the Companies Ordinance 1984, is licensed to distribute and supply electricity to its over 7.28 million valued consumers with more than 19,000 employees, within defined geographical areas of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Nankana Districts.

LESCO invites applications from eligible candidates through M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) to fill the following posts on an open contract on lump sum pay package, with six months' probation period:

3. Line Superintendent-I Minimum qualification of matric with 3 year diploma in Electrical Technology from Government Poly-technical institute in "B" Grade plus 3 year experience of the trade in a supervisory post in any Electrical organization. Up to 30 year 7 Direct Quota = 06

4. Head Clerk / Assistant Graduation (Humanities, Science, Commerce, Computer) with C-Grade / 50% Marks along with 03 months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB/ TEVTA/ Institutions affiliated with / recognized by Board of Technical Education / HEC. 5. Commercial Assistant Minimum BA/B.Sc./BCS /B.Com with first division from any HEC recognized institution 3-months Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB/TEVTA/Institutions affiliated with /recognized by Board of Technical Education / HEC.

7. Upper Divisional Clerk / Senior Clerk B.A/B.Sc./Associate degree (02-years after intermediate) at least 2nd Division.

NOTE:

  1. Applicants are advised to read the following instructions carefully before filling online application available on Open Testing Service (OTS) website with this advertisement.
  2. The applicants are advised to fill correct information (personal, academic and experience) in the online application. Any change after submission of application will not be accepted.

INSTRUCTIONS AND GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  1. All appointments shall be purely on contract basis at market based lump sum package, non-pensionable, with no long term benefits and shall not be converted into permanent positions at later stage.
  2. For positions mentioned at Sr. # 3-12, the candidates having domicile from districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara & Nankana Sahib shall be eligible to apply.
  3. M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) will charge 50% of fee openly from applicant & rest of 50% shall be paid by LESCO, therefore, each applicant will pay Rs 80/- to the testing agency.
  4. Only those candidates who have completed their degree are eligible to apply. Candidates to whom final result card has not been issued or result awaited shall not be considered.
  5. Candidate's degrees having Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be evaluated with HEC standard chart available on HEC website.
  6. Candidates already serving in Government / Semi-Government Organization / Autonomous Bodies / SOEs should apply through proper channel. Advance copy of the application, however, may be forwarded without obtaining NOC. The candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview, if he fails to produce NOC from concerned department.
  7. Serving candidates who are Government Servants and have completed 2 years continuous Government Service on the closing date of applications are advised to apply through proper channel. However they should keep in mind that their services shall never be regularized in LESCO as per policy.
  8. General age relaxation has already been included in the age mentioned above. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Buddhists are allowed 3 years age relaxation and the government servants who have completed two years continuous government service on the closing date shall be allowed 10 years relaxation in upper age limit.
  9. Candidates applying against 20% LESCO employee's children quota must ensure to attach a certificate duly signed by Dy. Manager concerned regarding employment of father (Died after retirement/ Died during service / Retired /working in LESCO) by certifying that no child / Dependents of the employee has been appointed against 20% employee's children quota.
  10. Candidates applying against 20% LESCO employee's children quota (ECQ) must ensure to attach CNIC of father/ mother and residate on affidavit that his/her brother / mother is not already employed in this quota. Concealing facts regarding appointment of any brother / sister or mother will lead to disqualification of applicant at any stage of recruitment.
  11. The candidates selected for appointment against 20% LESCO employee's children quota will be entitled for further 5-years sign-on-contract in prescribed age limit.
  12. All relevant quotas will be observed as mentioned against each post.
  13. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post.
  14. No-Tauzm passing marks in written test will be 50%.
  15. Only qualified candidate meeting with eligibility criteria mentioned against each post will be allowed to appear in Written Test. Mere passing of written test does not qualify any candidate for employment.
  16. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of LESCO as per requirement of the company.
  17. LESCO reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of posts and cancel the whole recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
  18. Dismissed/ terminated/ services terminated of any organization or having criminal record are not eligible for employment in LESCO. The clearance of character and antecedents of the candidates from the agencies /police shall be mandatory without which no candidate shall be selected.
  19. Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of a candidate from the current recruitment and from all types of tests/exams to be conducted by the LESCO for recruitment in future. All academic certificates/degree, domicile and police verification shall be verified from respective issuing authority. In case of bogus / fake submission of documents, the employment so offered shall be withdrawn ab-initio and salaries paid will be recovered.
  20. Any query raised by the applicant at any stage may be resolved at the level of M/s OTS within stipulated time relating to shortlisting, written test and any other associate matters.
  21. Any litigation pertaining to recruitment tests be dealt by the testing agency at its own without any liability whatsoever on LESCO.
  22. No TA/ DA will be paid for Written Test/Interview.
  23. Incomplete applications and the applications received after due date will not be considered. Late submission of applications will have no binding upon LESCO and Testing Agency.
  24. Last date for receipt of applications is 18.08.2026.

  2. Test fee will be charged to candidates @ Rs: 80/- per applicant. To submit the application fee, login to your banking app. select "1 Bill Payment", enter your PSID, verify the details, and complete the payment.
  3. Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of all educational documents, CNIC front back, copy of domicile certificate, experience certificate (where required), PEC registration certificate (where required), recent photograph and all relevant documents through the online application portal.
  4. Applications submitted by hand or received after due date will not be entertained.
  5. After applying for post(s), applicants are advised to regularly check OTS website: www.ots.org.pk & applicant portal for important announcement (procedure for Roll No. Slip / Written Test Schedule / Result etc.) related recruitment against stated posts.
