Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi, a 2,200-bedded tertiary care teaching hospital, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates having domicile of Sindh Province for appointment against the following purely contractual positions to strengthen patient care services and ensure adequate staffing for evening and night shifts.

3 Special Cadre Doctors
(Various Specialties)

A- Special Cadre
Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care/Critical Care, Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery, Gynae & Obsst., Thoracic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Radiology & Clinical Pathology 		24–45 Years i. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC.
ii. Master of Business Administration Hospital & Healthcare Management (MBA, MPH) or equivalent qualification as recognized by PMDC / HEC. 		Minimum 02year experience in a recognized healthcare institution.
B- Administrative Doctors / Shift Officer 24–45 Years i. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC.
ii. Master of Business Administration Hospital & Healthcare Management (MBA, MPH) or equivalent qualification as recognized by PMDC / HEC. 		Minimum 02 year experience in a recognized healthcare institution.
C- Doctor of Pharmacy 24–45 Years i. Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC.
ii. Pharm-D, (Pharmacology) / Pharmacy Practices from the recognized University of HEC or equivalent. 		Minimum 02year experience in a recognized healthcare institution.
D- Doctor of Physical Therapy 24–45 Years i. Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC.
ii. The qualification must be recognized by the relevant competent authority / council, as applicable 		Minimum 02year experience in a recognized healthcare institution.
7 Staff Nurses 21–35 Years BSc Nursing /Post RN BSc /Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery with valid registration from PNMC. Minimum 01year experience in a recognized healthcare institution.
8 Paramedical Staff 21–35 Years Relevant Diploma / Bachelor's Degree recognized by the Sindh Medical Faculty in Laboratory Technology, Radiology, Operation Theatre, ICU, Dialysis, Blood Bank, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Eye, CSSD, Emergency, ECG, EMG / EEG Technician / Technologist Endoscopy or allied disciplines. Minimum 01year relevant experience.
Mandatory Terms & Conditions:
All selected candidates shall be required to submit a duly attested affidavit at the time of joining, clearly stating that their appointment is purely temporary/contractual in nature for the specified period and shall not confer any right or claim for regularization, permanent appointment, absorption, or continuation in service beyond the terms and conditions of the contract.
General Terms & Conditions
  1. All appointments shall be made purely on a contractual basis.
  2. The initial contract shall be for a period determined by the Competent Authority.
  3. The contract may be extended subject to satisfactory performance, attendance, conduct, departmental recommendation and approval of the Competent Authority.
  4. Candidates must possess valid registration with PMDC, PNMC, Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, PEC or any other relevant professional body, wherever applicable.
  5. General age relaxation shall be admissible in accordance with the Government of Sindh policy.
  6. Quotas for Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities and other categories shall be observed as per Government of Sindh rules.
  7. Candidates already serving in Government, Semi-Government or Autonomous Organizations must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview.
  9. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
  10. Incomplete applications or applications received after the closing date shall not be entertained.
  11. Any false information, concealment of facts or attempt to influence the recruitment process shall result in disqualification.
  12. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, cancel any or all vacancies or withhold the recruitment process without assigning any reason.

  • Sindh Domicile and PRC (Form-D).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Attested copies of educational certificates and degrees.
  • Valid professional registration certificates (where applicable).
  • Experience certificates.
  • Any other supporting documents required by the Selection Committee.

  3. Separate applications shall be submitted for each post if applying for more than one position.
  4. Incomplete online application form will be rejected.
  5. Applications must be submitted within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
  6. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview. The list of shortlisted candidates and interview schedule shall be communicated through email and shall also be displayed on the official JPMC website (www.jpmc.edu.pk). In case the number of eligible candidates exceeds the prescribed limit, a screening test through NTS (National Testing Service) shall be conducted, and only candidates qualifying the test shall be shortlisted for interview.
