CAREER OPPORTUNITY AS MANAGER (PROCUREMENT & TECHICAL) PWF IN BPS-19
Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) is running various projects for welfare of retired employees / families of deceased employees of WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs & NTDC. The Foundation is looking for an individual having dynamic personality with ability / capacity to improve its efficiency.
Tenure
The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year extendable (subject to satisfactory performance) upto maximum 03 years or upto the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
Qualification
B.Sc Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) from HEC recognized university.
Age / Eligibility
Maximum 62 years / Retired WAPDA/DISCOs/NTDC employees with good service record.
Experience
Four (04) years experience as Superintending Engineer / Resident Engineer Power House / Manager Technical in BPS-19 or above positions (CEs / GMs). Priority will be given to the candidate having experience of procurement, Material Management and Inventory Control.

  • Excellent analytical, writing, communication, technical and interpersonal skills.
Area of Responsibility
  • Monitoring Procurement of material management as well as consumption at all workshops.
  • Holding review meetings to evaluate the performance of workshops for improvements.
  • Monitoring the technical activities at all distribution & power Transformer workshops & petrol pumps.
  • Responsible for improving maximum efficiency of workshops and increasing PWF revenue.
  • Developing strategy by having close liaison with WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs and NTDC counterparts / responsible officers for having more and more business for PWF.
  • Providing Engineering / Technical guidance to all Managers / Deputy Managers.
  • To extend full technical and procurement support to MD (PWF) as and when required.
