ADVERTISEMENT FOR HIRING OF DOCTORS ON FIXED PAY (SPS)
BASIS THROUGH WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Under the arrangement of "operationalisation of DHQ Hospitals" approved by the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, applications are invited from the eligible candidates/Doctors for hiring of their services against the categories mentioned below on fixed pay (SPS) basis through Walk-in-Interview, in Health Department Gilgit-Baltistan on the standard terms and conditions: -

ii) PM & DC Level-II [(a) or (b)] / Level-III or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject/specialty recognized by the PM & DC with relevant experience of 03 years with Level-II and 05 years with Level-III in the relevant specialty/field. 		Open Merit. Preference will be given to the domicile holders of Gilgit-Baltistan 45 Years

9 Supervisory PG Training Program in Obstetrics & Gynecology 01 RHQ Hospital Chilas i. As per CPSP policy. at least following positions of Assistant Professor to be approved by CPSP as a supervisor for training of the post-graduation candidates and to have 05 years post graduation Experience after acquiring the same. FRCS/FRCP/MRCP/MS/MD or equivalent qualifications recognized by CPSP.
ii. Photostat of valid PMDC registration certificate with updated showing 05 years post graduate experience qualification.
iii. Photocopies of four documents workshop for supervisors. 		- -
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  1. Interested candidates fulfilling required qualification must submit their applications along with one set of attested photocopies of all documents including degrees, CNIC, academic certificates, experience certificates and valid Permanent Registration with PM&DC with mentioning active cell number by 3rd September, 2026 during office hours in the office of Secretary Health GB.
  2. List of shortlisted candidates shall be displayed by 10th September, 2026.
  3. Candidates failing to submit the attested copies of all relevant documents to the Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan Office at New Secretariat Jutial, Gilgit after the due date shall not be considered for interview.
  4. Regular / Contract doctors of Gilgit Baltistan Government may apply through proper channel.
  5. Walk-In-Interview of the candidates shall be conducted on 15th September, 2026 at 10:00 am in the Office of the Secretary Health GB.
  6. Hiring will be made purely on fixed pay/ temporary basis as mentioned against each category for a period ending 30th June, 2027. In case of no extension granted on expiry of the term, the contract shall be deemed to have been terminated automatically.
  7. The pay package for Specialists doctors (qualified) shall be Rs. 350,000/month and pay package of Specialist doctors (Trained) shall be 300,000/month. Whereas, the pay package of Supervisor of Gynaecologist post at RHQ Hospital Chilas shall be 300,000/ month.
  8. The candidate shall have no right to claim the regularization of their services at any forum/court of law.
  9. Health Department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment of any or all candidates without assigning any reason, thereof.
  10. Specialist Doctors (Trained) presently serving on fixed pay basis in Health Department Gilgit-Baltistan are allowed to submit their qualifying postgraduate degree in the relevant specialty for consideration of their up-gradation from "Trained" category to "Qualified" category, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed criteria.
  11. The upper age limit shall be relaxed, for retired consultants/Specialist doctors subject to their motivation & medical fitness.
  12. Although the appointment is station specific; however, appointee may be posted to other stations as and when needed in the public interest.
  13. In case any public holiday occurs on the interview date, the schedule shall be revised under intimation to the candidates.
  14. No TA/DA will be admissible.
