Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh invites online applications from eligible candidates carrying domicile of Sukkur, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Badin districts for vacant posts at the Office of Chief Engineer Sukkur Barrage Left Bank Region Sukkur. General Instructions & Terms
- Candidates who fulfill the above criteria are directed to apply online on Sindh Job Portal: https://sjp.gos.pk.
- Candidates must have passed the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) Graduation Category General Screening Test with at least 40% marks, and must possess the STS issued result certificate to be eligible for appointment.
- Age calculation will be as of the last date of application submission on Sindh Job Portal. General relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit will be given as per Sindh Civil Services (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules 2024 Rule-7, vide Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)564/2011(Part-II) dated 06-03-2025 issued by SGA&CD Department.
- Initial recruitment quota reserved for special categories (women, minorities, persons with disabilities) will be observed as per Sindh Government laws/policy.
- Candidates already in government service must apply through proper channel and obtain NOC from their parent department before applying, and bring original NOC at the time of interview.
- Applicants must bring original documents along with candidate profile downloaded from Sindh Job Portal at the time of interview before Departmental Selection Committee.
- Only eligible / shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates appearing for interview.
