SITUATION VACANT NOTICE NO. 04/2026

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires the services of a qualified individual to fill the following vacant post where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:-

Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)
(EG-08) 		Three (03) • Minimum Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized Education Board.
• Hold or have held an ATPL with a type rating on a Commercial Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 kg or more.
• Not less than 5000 hours as Pilot-in-Command of Commercial Air Transport Aircraft with MGTOW of 40,000 kg or more.
• Must have a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) endorsement on an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) for commercial aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MGTOW) of 40,000 kg or more.
• 10 years or more of experience in Commercial Air Transport Aircraft as a Pilot.
• Experience in operational management is a plus, preferably with a background in airline operations, safety management, or regulatory oversight.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and report-writing skills.
• Computer literacy is a must. 		• Merit-03

• Pay: Rs.1,373,230/- per month with 5% annual increment

• Contract for three (03) years (extendable) 		• Maximum 66 years

(including all age relaxations)
Application Procedure:
  1. Interested candidates are required to fill & submit Online Job Application Form available at www.pcaa.gov.pk within fifteen days from the date of this advertisement.
  2. Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of certificate / degree of the required qualification only of the concerned post as mentioned above, updated CV and CNIC while applying for the job.
  3. Candidates will be required to upload a copy of ATPL, containing relevant endorsements, and a copy of last page of Log Book containing details of flying hours.
  4. In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form, his/her application will be rejected.
Terms of Reference:
  1. Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting an incomplete application shall not be considered.
  2. Tests / Interviews will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).
  3. The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary verification while appearing for the interview.
  4. No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.
  5. Appointment will be subject to CAA's medical fitness standards.
  6. Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per the requirement of PCAA.
  7. Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be required to submit an NOC from their current employer before interview.
  8. Applications received after the due date will not be considered / entertained.
  9. Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified.
  10. In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the applicants are found incorrect / fake / bogus at any stage, the services of the selected candidate will be terminated immediately.
