Overview & Modification Notice

In continuation and partial modification of Sindh Public Service Commission's CONSOLIDATED ADVERTISEMENT NO. 04/2026 dated: 19.08.2026, it is for the information of all the concerned aspirants that, pursuant to the decision of the Provincial Cabinet taken in its meeting held on 20.10.2026, the terms and conditions as set in the aforementioned advertisement are modified as below.

Updated Terms and Conditions (CCE-2026)

1. AGE LIMIT AND NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS: The upper age limit for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) is relaxed to 33 years (to be reckoned on 11-11-2026 for CCE-2026 being the extended closing date for the current process of CCE and on 1st September of the corresponding year for the succeeding Combined Competitive Examinations), and the number of attempts allowed is increased to five (05) for a period of three (03) years. The condition of three attempts mentioned in the Note under para 3 of the Consolidated Advertisement No. 04/2026 dated 19.08.2026 stands amended accordingly. The lower age limit of 21 years shall remain unchanged.
2. PASSING MARKS OF SCREENING TEST: The passing score of the CCE screening test shall be 33% (66 marks), with negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Accordingly, the qualifying criteria of 40 percent marks (80 marks) mentioned in Note-I under para 7 of the said advertisement stands substituted.
3. CANDIDATES WHO HAVE ALREADY APPLIED: Candidates who have already submitted their online applications against the said advertisement need not apply again. Their applications stand valid and shall be processed under the revised terms. However, such candidates may upload/submit the deficient documents, or rectify any mistake in their online application through the online portal on or before the newly set closing date.
4. NEW APPLICANTS: Candidates who find themselves eligible under the modified terms and conditions, or those who could not apply earlier may apply online on or before the extended closing date, subject to fulfillment of all other eligibility conditions/criteria.

Note: The other terms and conditions mentioned in the Consolidated Advertisement No. 04/2026 dated 19.08.2026 shall remain the same.
