Position Overview

District Education Officer (DEO), District Education Authority Hub invites online applications from local/domicile candidates of District Hub for ad-hoc recruitment of Secondary School Teachers (SST BPS-17) in Government High and Higher Secondary Schools. The hiring is being conducted under the Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment Policy 2026 approved by the Government of Balochistan.

Vacant Positions & Qualification Details

• 01. Secondary School Teacher — SST Physics (B-17) [03 Posts]:
  • Qualification: BS (Physics) 4-Year degree or Master's degree in Physics from a recognized university.
• 02. Secondary School Teacher — SST Chemistry (B-17) [04 Posts]:
  • Qualification: BS (Chemistry) 4-Year degree or Master's degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
• 03. Secondary School Teacher — SST Science Biology (Zoology/Botany) (B-17) [15 Posts]:
  • Qualification: BS (Zoology/Botany) 4-Year degree or Master's degree in Zoology/Botany from a recognized university.
• 04. Secondary School Teacher — SST Science Math (B-17) [14 Posts]:
  • Qualification: BS (Mathematics) 4-Year or BE (Engineering) or Master's degree in Mathematics / Statistics from a recognized university.
• 05. Secondary School Teacher — SST General English (B-17) [23 Posts]:
  • Qualification: BS (English) 4-Year degree or Master's degree in English from a recognized university.

Subject Inter-changeability Note: In case of non-availability of candidates with BS/MSc Mathematics in a UC, candidates with BS/MSc Physics will be considered and vice versa. Similarly, for Chemistry, candidates with BS/MSc Biology will be considered if Chemistry candidates are unavailable, though preference will be given to the respective subject degree holders.

Ranking Criteria & Merit Weightage (Total: 100 Marks)

* Note: A minimum cumulative score of 50% is required for basic eligibility.

Important Terms, Conditions & Rules

• Only candidates possessing local / domicile certificate of District Hub are eligible to apply.
• Upper age limit relaxation as per Government rules. Age limit shall not exceed 55 years.
• Government employees must apply through proper channel.
• Hiring will be strictly governed by the Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment Policy 2026.
• Quotas: 12% quota for women, 5% quota for minorities, and 5% quota for persons with disabilities will be applicable as per rules.
• For married female candidates, local/domicile of husband will be acceptable upon providing NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate (MRC) / Marriage Certificate.
