Emergency Services Department, Government of the Punjab invites applications through Central Testing Service (CTS) from suitable, physically fit candidates for various temporary positions at Headquarters, Emergency Services Academy, and District Lahore.

1. Staff Required for Headquarters

• 01. Emergency Officer (Medical) — 05 Posts (PPS-07):
  • Requisite Qualification: MBBS having valid registration from PMDC or PMC.
  • Age Limit: 24 – 32 Years.

2. Staff Required for Emergency Services Academy

• 02. Hostel Warden (Female) — 01 Post (PPS-05):
  • Requisite Qualification: Bachelor's degree or 14 years of education (BS/B.Sc) in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Management from HEC recognized university. Minimum 02 years of relevant experience in hostel administration or public sector management.
  • Age Limit: 24 – 35 Years.
• 03. Assistant Hostel Warden (Female) — 01 Post (PPS-03):
  • Requisite Qualification: Bachelor's degree or 14 years of education (BS/B.Sc) in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Management from HEC recognized university. Relevant experience preferred.
  • Age Limit: 22 – 30 Years.
• 04. Attendant (Female) — 04 Posts (PPS-02):
  • Requisite Qualification: Matriculation with House keeping Certificate. Relevant experience preferred.
  • Age Limit: 22 – 35 Years.

3. Staff Required for District Lahore

• 05. Fire DERT Rescuer (FDR) — 28 Posts (PPS-03):
  • Requisite Qualification: Diploma of Associate Engineering (Chemical or Electronics or Mining or Mechanical or Civil or Electrical or Telecommunication or Architecture) (2nd Division) from a recognized institution.
  • Age Limit: 20 – 30 Years.
• 06. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) — 92 Posts (PPS-03):
  • Requisite Qualification: Nursing or Paramedical Degree or Diploma (2nd Division) from a recognized Board, Council or University.
  • Age Limit: 20 – 30 Years.
• 07. Rescue Driver (LTV) — 108 Posts (PPS-02):
  • Requisite Qualification: Secondary School Certificate (2nd division) from a recognized board and having valid LTV License.
  • Age Limit: 20 – 30 Years.

Selection Procedure

• Applications are invited against these posts on temporary basis; these posts are non-transferable and conferring no right for regularization.
• Apply online on Central Testing Service (CTS) website www.ctspak.com or link available at ESD website www.rescue.gov.pk latest by 06-11-2026 and send APPLICATION FORMS by post to Central Testing Service.
• Only completely filled applications fulfilling the complete criteria shall be accepted. Any communication shall be made through CTS & ESD websites.
• Written & psychological tests, Physical tests and skill test shall be held at designated places.
• List of qualifying candidates shall be displayed on CTS & ESD websites after each process.
• Final interview shall be conducted at the Emergency Services Headquarters at Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
• At the time of interview, candidate shall submit a medical report issued by the Government Teaching Hospital or DHQ Hospital regarding their physical examination (height, weight, chest, eyesight and physical deformities) and laboratory tests for Hepatitis B&C, HIV and RPR.

Terms & Conditions

• Any person with vision less than 6/6 each eye (without glasses) and color blind, obesity with BMI 30 or above and Hepatitis B & C, HIV and RPR positive shall be shortlisted at any stage.
• In case of the large number of applicants, only applications with preferred/enhanced criteria shall be considered.
• Candidates are directed to apply only for one suitable post; however appropriate candidate may be adjusted against other suitable post on recommendation of the Recruitment Committee. Department may increase or decrease posts depending on availability.
• No relaxation in age or qualification (Army/Civil). However, the employee of Emergency Services Department shall be given 5 years age relaxation in upper age limit only for administrative posts.
• Preference will be given to the candidates with height more than 5'6". Whereas minimum chest size will be 33".
• Local residents as per CNIC will be given preference.
• 5% quota for minorities & 15% quota for females shall be reserved. Shemales can also apply.
• Candidates have to justify their eligibility as per advertised criteria as all the documents are accepted provisionally and offer of appointment is subject to verification of documents, Police Verification, Successful completion of training and clearance by the medical board constituted by Government of the Punjab.
• Salary shall be given as per the Government Notification/ Policy.
