Position Overview

Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Male/Female) having Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province for various positions in the Information Department, Government of Sindh. Submissions must be made through the official online Job Portal within fifteen (15) days of publication of the advertisement.

Available Vacancies & Qualification Requirements

• 01. Stenographer (BPS-14) — 04 Posts: Bachelor's Degree at least in Second Division from an HEC recognized University; 6 months certificate in Shorthand and English Typing from SBTE; shorthand speed of 120 w.p.m. and 35 w.p.m. typing on computer; Certificate in MS Office. Age limit: 21 to 28 years.
• 02. Steno Typist (BPS-14) — 17 Posts: Bachelor's Degree at least in Second Division from an HEC recognized University; 6 months certificate in Shorthand and English Typing from SBTE; shorthand speed of 120 w.p.m. and 35 w.p.m. typing on computer; Certificate in MS Office. Age limit: 21 to 28 years.
• 03. Photographer (BPS-13) — 10 Posts: Graduation at least in 2nd Division from a recognized Board/University; 06 months to 01-year Diploma in photography; 01 to 02 years' experience in handling Digital / HD Cameras and photography / Archiving. Age limit: 21 to 28 years.
• 04. Junior Clerk (BPS-11) — 15 Posts: Graduation at least in 2nd Division from an HEC recognized University; 06 months' Certificate Course in MS Office from an institute recognized by SBTE / Trade Testing Board. Age limit: 21 to 28 years.
• 05. Calligraphist (BPS-08) — 01 Post: Intermediate at least in "C" Grade from recognized Board; at least 02 years' experience in Calligraphy, art, pasting, publication. Age limit: 18 to 28 years.
• 06. Assistant Cameraman (BPS-08) — 01 Post: Intermediate at least in "C" Grade; at least 02 years' experience of Video Recording of Old and New Digital / HD System archiving / Preserving. Age limit: 18 to 28 years.
• 07. Dark Room Attendant (BPS-05) — 03 Posts: Matriculation at least in "C" Grade; practical 02 years of experience of photography, developing and printing of films. Age limit: 18 to 28 years.
• 08. Telephone Operator (BPS-05) — 01 Post: Matriculation at least in "C" Grade from recognized Board of Education. Age limit: 18 to 28 years.
• 09. Electrician (BPS-05) — 01 Post: Matriculation at least in "C" Grade; practical 02 years of experience in relevant field with certified Electrician Course. Age limit: 18 to 28 years.

General Instructions & Application Procedure

• Applicants fulfilling the requirements should apply online via the Government of Sindh Job Portal at http://sjp.gos.pk or www.iwork4sindh.com.
• Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) for Bachelor, Intermediate & Matriculation categories (minimum 40% marks) and possess the STS certificate.
• Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD)564/2011(Part. 11) dated 06.03.2025.
• Candidates appointed shall be governed by the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme 2024.
• Quotas: 15% Women Quota, 5% Minority Quota, and 5% Disabled Quota strictly observed.
• Government employees must provide NOC from their parent department prior to the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
