Introduction
National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (NCNN) — a flagship national research initiative established through the Higher Education Commission (HEC) & the Planning Commission, Government of Pakistan — invites applications from highly motivated and qualified candidates for the following PSDP-funded positions in its Nano Physics Lab (NPL), hosted at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
Vacant Positions & Minimum Qualifications

| Research Associate (PPS-7) | 04 | Bachelor's degree in physics, electrical or electronic engineering, materials science, nanoscience and nanotechnology, computer science, or a related discipline, with at least one year of relevant research or laboratory experience. Experience in quantum technologies, optics, lasers, electronics, instrumentation, quantum materials, condensed-matter physics, scientific computing or machine learning will be preferred, depending on the assigned research area. |
| Electronic Technician (PPS-6) | 01 | Diploma related to electrical, electronic, instrumentation, physics, or a related discipline with at least one year of relevant experience. Experience with laboratory instrumentation, electronic circuit assembly, data-acquisition systems, optical equipment, vacuum systems, or equipment interfacing will be preferred. |
| PhD Students | 04 | PhD students already enrolled in relevant program(s) at LUMS. |
| MS Students | 03 | MS students already enrolled in relevant program(s) at LUMS. |
