Job Overview
National University of Modern Languages requires the services of dynamic and qualified professionals for NUML Main Campus Islamabad on a contract basis.
Positions & Qualification Requirements
Cyber Security Administrator
- Minimum 16 Years of education in CS / SE or equivalent with Minimum 5 Years relevant experience.
- Hands-On experience on Security threats, System Security, policy enforcement and its mitigation in cyber security fields.
- Secure Network traffic in support of network team. Utilize firewalls like WAF, Fortinet etc. Work in collaboration with Software team on security of information exchanged on web applications.
- Regular monitoring, auditing and mitigation to protect digital assets, networks, and data from unauthorized access or breaches.
- Manage incident response, including investigation, documentation, and resolution.
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, as per security standards, and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux platforms to protect from security threats.
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold Cyber Security Certifications.
Database Administrator
- Minimum 16 Years of education in CS / SE or equivalent with Minimum 5 Years relevant experience.
- Professional level experience on MS SQL Server and MySQL for database management, backup, recovery, monitoring DB performance, load testing, query optimization, data extraction.
- Collaborate with software team for deployment, scripting, logging, security & compliance of databases.
Computer Lab Assistant
- Graduate plus one year diploma in Computer Science / IT from any accredited institution.
- Adequate experience of installing & troubleshooting Windows OS / Networking and installation of Windows based software.
- Handling of Smart LEDs, Multimedia, Sound Systems and Video Conferencing.
