Position Overview

Applications are invited from local/domiciled candidates of District Qillah Abdullah for filling vacant positions of Secondary School Teachers (SST General / Science BPS-17) in middle, high, and higher secondary schools under the Balochistan Educational Department and the amended Balochistan Teacher Recruitment Policy 2026.

Vacant Positions & Requirements

• 01. SST Science (Physics) (BPS-17) — 18 Posts: BS (4 years) in Physics or Master's degree in Physics from a recognized university.
• 02. SST Science (Chemistry) (BPS-17) — 12 Posts: BS (4 years) in Chemistry or Master's degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
• 03. SST Science (Biology) (BPS-17) — 11 Posts: BS (4 years) in Zoology/Botany or Master's degree in Zoology/Botany from a recognized university.
• 04. SST Science (Mathematics) (BPS-17) — 13 Posts: BS (4 years) in Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering or Master's degree in Mathematics from a recognized university.
• 05. SST General (Arts) (BPS-17) — 58 Posts: BS (4 years) in Arts/General or Master's degree from a recognized university.

Merit Calculation / Weightage Formula

• Matriculation (SSC): 20 Marks
• Intermediate (HSSC): 20 Marks
• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in relevant subject: 50 Marks
• M.Phil / MS in relevant Subject: 05 Marks (Additional)
• PhD in relevant Subject: 10 Marks (Additional)
• Total Merit Marks: 100 Marks
