National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW)

Position Overview

The National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) came into existence through a presidential ordinance and was established by the NCSW Act, 2012 as a financially and an administratively autonomous statutory body. The basic role of NCSW is to examine and review laws, policies, programmes and monitor the implementation of laws for the protection and empowerment of women, and to facilitate the government in the implementation of international instruments and obligations. Applications are invited for regular positions from suitable and eligible candidates who are interested to be part of this journey.

Vacant Positions & Eligibility

• 01. Assistant Chief (BPS-18) — 12 Posts:
  Qualification: Holding grade-C or equivalent Masters Degree in Management Sciences or Social Sciences or Economics or Business Administration or Finance or Human Resource or LLB from the institution recognized by HEC. Higher qualification would be given preference. Should have 5-7 years of experience with at least 2 years of experience in the field of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Project Management, Women Rights, Legal issues and Report Writing in the Government Sector or INGO, NGO.
  Age Limit: 28-40 Years.
• 02. Steno typist (BPS-14) — 11 Posts:
  Qualification: Must be Intermediate or equivalent holding grade-B with typing speed of 40 words per minute with computer literate. Must have 80 words per minute speed of shorthand.
  Age Limit: 18-30 Years.
• 03. Driver (BPS-04) — 01 Post:
  Qualification: Middle pass with valid driving license and medically fit.
  Age Limit: 18-28 Years.
• 04. Naib Qasid (BPS-04) — 10 Posts:
  Qualification: Primary pass. Preference will be given to middle pass.
  Age Limit: 18-28 Years.

• For S.No. 03 and 04, candidates may download the application form with challan form on ETS website, fill the application form, submit fees, and then post it through proper courier services to the given address on the application form.
