Teaching Posts (Regular Basis / Contributory Pension Scheme)

2.	Professor (BS-21)	Management Science / Business Administration	01	10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. 15 research publications with at least 5 in the last five years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.
3.	Associate Professor (BS-20)	Computer Science	01	PhD in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electrical Information Engineering or in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution; AND 10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized Institution/College/University or 10-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 2-years must be teaching experience.
4.	Associate Professor (BS-20)	Information Technology	01	5-years post PhD teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 2-years must be teaching experience; AND 10 research publications with at least 4 in the last 5 years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.
5.	Assistant Professor (BS-19)	Computer Science	03	Ph.D. in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electrical Information Engineering or in the relevant field from an Institute or a University recognized by HEC.
6.	Assistant Professor (BS-19)	Information Technology	05	Ph.D. in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electrical Information Engineering or equivalent degree from an Institute or a University recognized by HEC.

Statutory Post (03 Year Contract Basis - Non Extendable)

OR i) MBA in Finance or M.Com. or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. in Economics (second division) or equivalent qualification from an Institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; AND ii) Twelve years' post qualification relevant experience.

General Information / Terms & Conditions

The recruitment will be made in accordance with the Recruitment Policy 2021 and as per HEC faculty appointment criteria.
The prescribed application forms can be downloaded from the Rawalpindi Women University, Rawalpindi website: www.rwu.edu.pk.
Candidates required to fill the application form in MS Word only (Hand written forms shall not be entertained) and shall submit Three (03) hard copies of form along with attested documents and mention in form.
Candidates applying for more than one position shall submit separate application along with all the necessary documents (separate bank draft for each post).
Applications on prescribed form complete in all respect along with necessary documents must reach to "Office of the Registrar Rawalpindi Women University, Rawalpindi, 6th Road, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi" by post only, till 6 October 2026. No application will be accepted by hand.
Applicants are advised to carefully read all the terms and conditions of the advertisement before submitting applications. Incomplete or incorrect applications, documents received after due dates, submission of false or concealed information shall lead to disqualification.
The Processing fee is non-refundable, and must be paid in favor of "The Rawalpindi Women University, Rawalpindi", in form of a Bank Draft against FTN No. 9031156-4.
Candidates already in service of a Government / Semi Government Department or an Autonomous Body shall apply through proper channel by the due dates, otherwise their applications shall not be entertained.
The maximum age limit will be relaxed as per Government Rules. Only Punjab Domicile holder candidates can apply on non-teaching positions.
Candidates from all over Pakistan can apply on teaching positions only.
Only short listed candidates will be called for test and/or interview (where applicable). Decision of the University's Authority will be final.
Preference may be given to women subject to merit. No TA/DA will be paid for interviews/Test.
The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, not to fill any post, and/or withhold/withdraw the appointment against any advertised post.
3% quota for disable and 5% quota for minorities shall be observed as per Government rules.
