The Office of the Ombudsperson Punjab is mandated to ensure effective implementation of the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 7(4) of the Act, the Ombudsperson Punjab, being the Competent Authority, is pleased to invite applications (purely on temporary basis for a period of six (06) months) from eligible candidates having Punjab domicile for appointment against various positions at the Head Office and its Regional Offices at district levels across the Punjab.

The candidate must have practical experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications/systems, with hands-on expertise of Microsoft .NET technologies, databases and system integration.

Preference shall be given to candidates having proven experience of leading software development life cycle (SDLC) and successfully developing, testing, & implementing major IT/software projects or e-governance systems.

2. Data Processing Officer
(Lump Sum)		 01 16 years of education in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Software Engineering (16 years division) from an HEC recognized university.
At least 3 years' professional experience in related field from a reputable public/private sector.

3. Network Technician
(Lump Sum)		 01 Bachelor or master degree/diploma in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field from recognized HEC-recognized institute.
At least 3 years professional experience designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructure.

4. Law Officer
(Lump Sum)		 04 LL.B degree or equivalent with minimum 2nd division from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission with following prerequisites:

i) Valid license to practice as advocate in High Court and Support preparation of responses, submissions, pleadings, and legal documentation for proceedings in courts, tribunals, statutory bodies and other competent authorities; Manage the court processes and case progress; Assist in departmental litigation proceedings; assist in drafting legal opinions, briefing cases, arbitration matters departmental inquiries.

ii) Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other compatible office applications.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. The positions shall be purely temporary in nature for a period of six (06) months and may be extended based on satisfactory performance.
  2. Candidates are required to apply online through https://jobs.punjab.gov.pk within 15 days of this advertisement.
  3. For Serial No. 01 to 11: Candidates are required to apply online only through the official portal jobs.punjab.gov.pk. Applications submitted by hand, through courier, or via email shall not be entertained.
  4. For Serial No. 12 to 18: Candidates are required to submit their applications by courier only, along with attested copies of all relevant educational qualification documents and experience certificates, where required.
  5. General age relaxation shall be admissible as per the prevailing Government of Punjab rules and policy.
  6. The application shall be rejected in case the required information is found incorrect, false, forged or withheld during scrutiny of the original documents presented at the time of test/interview and the applicant will also be prosecuted in accordance with law.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview/test.
  8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test/interview.
  9. The Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
  10. Selected candidates may be posted at any Regional Offices of any districts/ district of Punjab.
  11. The last date for submission of applications is 26-09-2026. No application shall be accepted after the due date.
